How to check for unclaimed prizes
We contact everyone when they win a Premium Bonds prize. But sometimes the good news doesn’t arrive. This might be because you’ve moved and you haven't told us, you’ve changed some of your personal details or our letter went astray in the post.
You never need to worry about an unclaimed prize. We’ll hold on to it until you get in touch with us. And there’s no time limit to make your claim.
Just log in to view your prize history, or use our prize checker to see if you have any prizes you don't know about yet.

Or you can write to us asking for your prize history. Remember to include your name, address and NS&I number (or Premium Bonds holder’s number). We’ll send you a list of any prizes you’ve won.
How to claim a prize
If you find out you've won a prize but haven't received it – and you're already registered for our online and phone service – you can call us and we’ll be happy to help with your claim.
If you're not registered yet, you can register now for our online and phone service. Or you can write to us and tell us you have an unclaimed prize. If you do register, you can choose for any future prizes to be paid straight into your bank account.
If you're writing to us, please mention the following details in your letter:
- Premium Bonds holder's number
- Your current name
- Any previous names
- Your current address
- Any previous addresses where Bonds may have been registered
- Your signature
Please send your letter to: NS&I, Sunderland SR43 2SB.
Prizes will then be sent to your home address as a warrant. Unfortunately, we can't send unclaimed prizes directly to your bank account.
If your details have changed since you won the prize, please tell us your old and current details and sign your letter.
