How to apply

If you have any questions before applying, just contact us.

Telephone

It’s easy to apply for an Investment Account for yourself over the phone and it only takes a few minutes. When applying by phone, you can only apply for an Investment Account for yourself or jointly with someone else. Simply call us free* on:

Our UK customer service team is available every day from 7am until midnight. For your security and to maintain the highest levels of service, calls may be recorded. We will answer any final questions you may have and help you through the sales process. Please make sure you have the following information to hand:

  • A debit card in your name (Maestro/Switch, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit)

*Calls from mobiles may be chargeable.

Post

Pick up a brochure from your local Post Office® branch or contact us and we’ll send you one. The brochure includes an application form and a postage-paid envelope for your convenience.

If you are resident outside the UK, you will need to send your application by post, with documentary evidence of your identity and address. Find out which documents you’ll need to include with your application.

Standing order

If you already have an Investment Account, setting up a standing order is the easiest way to build up your savings without even having to think about it.

Post Office™

You can also open an Investment Account over the counter at your local Post Office™ branch.
