It’s easy and quick to apply for yourself online. Help is available throughout and if you get stuck just call us and a member of our customer service team will complete the sale for you over the phone. When applying online, you can only buy Savings Certificates for yourself.

Telephone

It’s easy to apply for Index-linked Savings Certificates for yourself over the phone and takes just a few minutes. When applying by phone, you can only buy Savings Certificates for yourself. Simply call for free on:

Buying for someone else

To buy Savings Certificates for someone else, you will need to apply by post or at a Post Office® - see below.

Post

If you wish to pay by cheque or buy for someone else, you’ll need to send your application in by post (or you can apply at a Post Office® - see below). If you are resident outside the UK, you will need to send your application by post, with documentary evidence of your identity and address. Find out which documents you’ll need to send with your application. 

Pick up a brochure from your local Post Office® branch or contact us and we’ll send you one. The brochure includes an application form and a reply-paid envelope for your convenience.

If you wish to apply for Savings Certificates to be held in trust, contact us and ask for an Index-linked Savings Certificates trustee form.

Post Office™
