Log in to Direct ISA
You can now manage your Direct ISA online to check your account balance, account history, make further deposits or withdrawals and see your previous transactions.
If you are eligible for the higher ISA allowance from 6 October, please call us free on 0500 500 000 to top up your Direct ISA (our online banking system has not yet been updated to accept the higher allowance). Your call will be taken by one of NS&I’s award-winning UK customer service team. We’re available every day from 7am till midnight. Calls from mobiles may not be free. Calls may be recorded.
Problems logging in to Direct ISA?
When logging in to Direct ISA, you will be asked for your NS&I number and password, as shown here:
Your NS&I number can be found in the top left hand corner of your welcome letter. It is 11 digits long and always starts with either 11, 21 or 31:
When you enter your NS&I number, please type it without spaces. Enter the characters from your password in upper case.

Forgotten your security details?
Click here to download a 'change of security details' form and post the completed form to NS&I, Durham, DH99 1NS. This form will also allow you to request a temporary password, if you need one. If you ask for a temporary password, we’ll post it to you shortly after receiving your form.

Important information about your available balance
When you log in, the first screen you see will be “Your balances”. The balance shown on this screen is your available balance, not your account balance. Any deposits you have made in the past 6 working days are not included in your available balance. For instructions on how to view your account balance, please click the link below.
