INDEX-LINKED NATIONAL SAVINGS AND INVESTMENTS CERTIFICATES CASH VALUES IN MARCH 2005

These tables give the March 2005 cash values for Index-linked Savings Certificates held for one year or more. The tables refer to certificates bought up to ten years ago.

Retail Prices Index

For working out these values in February, the Retail Price Index figure is 188.9 The increase in the Index over the year is 3.2%.

1. Valuations for the 3-year and 5-year Certificates are shown in separate tables

2. The charts show the exact value of a £100 Certificate including supplements, bonuses and extra interest. 

3. All returns are tax-free.

4. Customers requiring more information or a valuation of a certificate older than ten years can call National Savings and Investments on 0845 964 5000. 

5. National Savings and Investments’ March cash values will be published on 15 March 2005.
