NATIONAL SAVINGS AND INVESTMENTS SALES - APRIL 2002

Sales of National Savings and Investments'
products in April 2002 amounted to over £870 million. National Savings and
Investments' total liabilities to customers at the end of April amounted to
£62.3 billion.
